In der Zeit vom 14.-24.Februar 2007 veranstaltet die Interfilm-Akademie ein interkulturelles Filmseminar "Jeunesse et Cinema" für Jugendliche, Schülerinnen und Schüler sowie Studierende in Ouagadougou. Am Ende vergibt eine internationale Jury bestehend aus Jugendlichen aus Afrika und Europa im Rahmen von FESPACO 2007 den von der Interfilm-Akademie neu gestifteten "Prix Jeunesse Afrique".

Der Filmemacher Wolf Gaudlitz wird mit seinem "Kino in der Wüste" beide Projekte begleiten und im Rahmen von FESPACO 2007 afrikanische und europäische Filme vorführen.

Kurzbiografie: Wolf Gaudlitz (geb.1955 in Bayern), arbeitete nach einer Schauspielausbildung an der Otto-Falckenberg-Schule (München) als Darsteller bzw. als Assistent u.a. bei Federico Fellini, Michael Verhoeven, Im Kwon-Taek und Marcel Marceau.

Wolf Gaudlitz hat interessante Filme (z.B. "Parlermo flüstert". "Taxi Lisboa") in verschiedenen Ländern Europas gedreht.

Gaudlitz ist überzeugt, dass jeder Ort "atmet" und so sucht er eine Synchronität zwischen Figuren und Orten herzustellen. So bemerkenswert sein Stil, so selbständig und autark ist dieser außergewöhnliche Filmemacher bei der Realisierung seiner Filmprojekte, die er meist selbst produziert und auch selbst dreht.


Willkommen in Westafrika

This is the first time that, upon the initiative of the Interfilm Academy Munich, the German filmmaker Wolf Gaudlitz has been invited to Burkina Faso to participate at FESPACO 2007 by bringing his project "Cinema in the desert" to life. At present, Wolf Gaudlitz is organising film projections and seminars in Africa.

From February 14th to 24th, 2007 the Interfilm Academy will be leading an intercultural film seminar called "Jeunesse et Cinema" for adolescents, pupils and students in Ouagadougou.

At the end of the FESPACO 2007, an international jury composed of adolescents from Africa and Europe will be awarding the newly introduced prize, in French "Prix Jeunesse Afrique", donated by the Interfilm Academy.

This is the second film seminar "Jeunesse et Cinema" taking place in Ouagadougou since the time the project started, and it is directed by Abbot Dr Dominique Yanogo (Burkina Faso), Christine Weissbarth (Austria) and Heidi Meinzold-Depner (Germany) who also lead the new project "Prix Jeunesse Afrique".

Again, pupils and students from the grammar school Otto-von-Taube-Gymnasiums (Gauting/Munich) seize the opportunity to make this educational journey and contribute their part in organising the project launched by the Interfilm Academy, under the direction of Heidi Meinzold-Depner. Filmmaker Wolf Gaudlitz is going to manage both projects within his campaign "Cinema in the desert", presenting African and European films at FESPACO 2007.

Biography (in short): After his actor’s training at the famous actors academy “Otto-Falckenberg-Schule” (Munich), Wolf Gaudlitz worked partly as an actor, partly as an assistant in productions led by Federico Fellini, Michael Verhoeven, Im Kwon-Taek and Marcel Marceau.

Wolf Gaudlitz has made interesting films like "Parlermo whispers” and "Taxi Lisboa".

Gaudlitz is convinced that the place where a story is told „breathes” in a way that induces him to synchronise characters and places where they live. His style is as remarkable as the fact that he appears unique in his way to keep independent and without constraints in most of the film projects realized by him in his double role as a producer and director.

"Le cinéma dans le désert " est une contribution du réalisateur allemand Wolf Gaudlitz pour attirer l’intérêt des cinéphiles au plus grand Festival du Film Africain FESPACO 2007, tenant lieu à Ouagadougou, capitale de Burkina Faso, du 14 au 24 février 2007.

C’est grâce à l’initiative de l’Académie INTERFILM que le reálisateur allemand, Wolf Gaudlitz, est invité à participer pour la première fois au Festival FESPACO 2007 à Burkina Faso avec son projet « Le cinéma dans le désert". À présent, Wolf Gaudlitz organise des projections de films in afrique.

Durant la période du 14 au 24 février 2007, l’Académie INTERFILM organise le séminaire interculturel "Jeunesse et Cinema" pour adolescents, lycéens et étudiants à Ouagadougou.

Dans le cadre de ce festival, un jury international composé de jeunes d’Afrique et d’Europe décerne le "Prix Jeunesse Afrique », récemment introduit et financé par l’Académie INTERFILM.

C’est pour la deuxième fois que le séminaire cinématographique "Jeunesse et Cinema" tient lieu à Ouagadougou sous la direction de l’Abbé Dr Dominique Yanogo (Burkina Faso), Christine Weissbarth (Autriche) et Heidi Meinzold-Depner (Allemagne) qui encadrent, également dans leur rôle de dirigeants, le nouveau projet "Prix Jeunesse Afrique".

C’est aussi pour la deuxième fois que les élèves du lycée Otto-von-Taube-Gymnasium (Gauting/près de Munich) apportent leur soutien dans l’organisation de ce projet de l’Académie dans le cadre d’un voyage d’études sous la direction de Madame Heidi Meinzold-Depner (pour en savoir plus, cliquez sur: www.ovtg.de).

Le réalisateur Wolf Gaudlitz accompagnera les deux projets organisés dans le cadre de la campagne "Le cinéma dans le désert" et organisera des projections de films africains et européens dans le cadre du Festival FESPACO 2007.

Aussi remarquable qu’apparaît son style, aussi indépendant et sans contraintes s’avère-t-il en tant que réalisateur hors normes puisqu’il est à la fois producteur et réalisateur dans la plupart de ces projets de films.
